Michael Hackel is a seasoned entrepreneur whose career has been defined by long-term vision, disciplined execution, and a deep understanding of what people truly value. He founded DiningIn.com in Boston and grew it from a single-founder venture into a nationally recognized company serving multiple major markets before its sale to Grubhub in 2015. That experience shaped his belief in building thoughtfully, staying close to relationships, and creating something meaningful enough to endure.

At Aerie Group, Michael brings not only entrepreneurial experience, but also the values of a devoted family man who believes that the best homes are the ones where connection deepens, traditions take hold, and memories are made over time.

Sam Bowen brings extensive development and construction experience, along with a lifelong connection to Nantucket that informs every project he touches. Through his work as a Development and Construction Manager at Samuels & Associates, and through acquiring and renovating a portfolio of rental properties in Boston, he has developed a strong command of the construction and development process from vision through execution.

Just as importantly, Sam has spent his life on Nantucket, giving him a lived understanding of the island that goes far beyond aesthetics. He approaches each home with a sensitivity to how it should feel, how it should live, and how it can offer buyers an experience of Nantucket that is authentic, enduring, and deeply personal.
