15 Deer Run is a thoughtfully sited home that begins with the land. Positioned to draw in the particular quality of Nantucket light — long, warm, and diffuse — the home unfolds from its entry as a series of connected spaces that move between private and shared, intimate and open.
The design departs from the conventional spec home formula. Rather than maximizing floor area, it maximizes the quality of everyday experience: the morning light at the kitchen table, the view from the living room toward the treeline, the ease of moving between inside and out during the long summer months.
Materials are natural throughout — weathered cedar, stone, and hand-selected millwork — chosen for how they will age and how they will feel underfoot and underhand. Nothing is decorative for its own sake. Every finish carries meaning.
This is a home built to be lived in fully, returned to year after year, and passed down. That is the only brief we ever accept.
